Wishing You A Peaceful Sunday...

Paul wrote, "Rejoice in the Lord always. 

I will say it again: Rejoice! 

Let your gentleness be evident to all. 

The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7

He went on to say, 

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 

 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. 

And the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 4:8-9

These scriptures are ones that I have written down, taped up, repeated and pondered, on many days.

Verses 4-7 were my mantra during a terribly painful time in my life.

I needed to be reminded of the assurance of God, that He had a plan... no matter what I was living at the moment.

The Lord is near. Do not be anxious. Every situation. The peace of God. Will guard your hearts.

 His word is true and I knew He would care for me.

Verses 8 and 9 are faithful reminders of how to approach my day.

True. Noble. Pure. Lovely. Excellent. Praiseworthy.

God of peace.

again... peace.

I pray the peace of God would find you today. Wherever you are, whatever you are going through, be reminded...

His word is True, He is Faithful, and His peace is available to each one of us.
